Meteorologically, spring starts on 1st March, which is tomorrow. It felt appropriate to take a few images as the seasons turn so I went to Storeton Woods on the outskirts of Birkenhead and had a great couple of hours photographing. There were lots of spring flowers pushing through the Fall leaves still on the ground from last autumn. And, as an extra bonus, beautiful clear blue skies and lovely sunshine.
I used my Fuji XT-1 and Fujinon 18mm ƒ2.0 lens to make the images, which were processed in Lightroom 5.7 and Alien Skin’s rather excellent Exposure 7.
