Places #2 – Storeton Wood, Wirral, UK

Storeton Wood can be found on the outskirts of Prenton, which is near to Birkenhead at the northern end of the Wirral Peninsular. It’s a lovely place to visit with a very varied wildlife and bird population and spend hours just wandering and finding new things to photograph – tree shapes, colours and all that nature has to offer. This was taken on a misty, damp Sunday morning this past autumn. The leaves were turning brown, red and yellow; the only sound was the steady drip, drip of the mist on leaves. A truly magical morning.
