As I write, it is sleeting a little outside making this post very apt. There’s not been much in the way of bad weather in my part of the UK – other than very heavy rain this past few days – because frost and snow have yet to appear just yet. All is not lost, however, for the woods I’m able to visit have been generous in providing something for me to photograph. Here are two images taken in Royden Park on the Wirral peninsular at sundown on a day when there was just a little sunshine. The first is shot against the light, the second with it.
