After Storm Katie

Easter Monday was a really rough old day in some parts of the UK as Storm Katie dispersed her energy. It didn’t really bother the north-west of England that much so I thought that there may be a decent sunset. I made a bee line for West Kirby, where there was every likelihood of some nice skies. I got just a little more than I expected while waiting for the sun to dip towards the horizon…

After Glow, West Kirby

All three images were made using my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and Fujinon 16-55mm zoom lens. Minimal processing was used; just a crop, straightening the horizon and tweaking the shadows a little. So far I’m very please with the results from the camera and the images I made earlier today have come up beautifully despite difficult lighting conditions. I’ll post these images tomorrow, all being well.
