Beside the Sea Again

It’s good to have published my “Documenting Brutalism” project last week. Thank you if you’ve been to see it alread. If not and you’d like to have a look, then this link will take you to the f50 Collective website.

I’ve now got a little moretime to focus once more on The Fuji Freak blog and I’ll start with another day at the seaside and a bonus image.

The header image, the bonus, was taken at sunset on the coast at Seahouses in Northumberland looking towards Bamburgh Castle, which you can see on the skyline. It’s one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen…

But the focus of this post is Crosby beach, just north of Liverpool and home to Antony Gormley’s art installation, “Another Place”. It was a fairly grim day with some scattered showers and gusty winds – just my sort of seaside landscape day!

High tide…
I dream of the sea…
Stirred by Wind…
The new bench… (inspired by a recent Pete Bridgwood column in Outdoor Photography magazine)
