Architecture As Art – 2

I’ve just finished editing images from last evening in Birmingham and I’m posting them now…

I’ll post some more next week.

Architecture As Art

I spent last evening wandering around Birmingham (UK) city centre making the most of the light and photographing architecture. This is the first of a few images that will fall into a long-term project entitled ‘Architecture As Art’.

The Photography Show

It’s that time of year to rush off to the annual Photography Show held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. We’ll be clutching our hard-earned cash ready to buy the newest camera kit, the latest gadgets, books and anything else that takes our eye. I refuse to go to the opening couple of days because it’s just one enormous crush, whereas the Monday and Tuesday are less busy making it easier to get around to look at what you might like to buy or at least discuss products with those manning the stands.

I’m (almost) desperate for Fujifilm’s X-Pro2 camera body and am hoping to get to play with one for a while on Monday. Other than that, there’s not too much I’m interested in but doubtless I’ll be coming home with something new.

With all this in mind, I’ll not be around on Monday 21st as I’m hoping to make it a full day at the Show. I will post my thoughts on this year’s events starting on Tuesday, all being well.
